The Land Rover which can be seen detailed under The Vehicle was purchased just outside London in 2003 and is the chosen vehicle for this adventure. Come hell or high water, the Land Rover will continue.
Details of equipment required to accomplish this feat are detailed in the Equipment List and whilst the list changes, I will do my best to keep things up to date whenever possible.
The time limit has purposefully been left open as most can imagine, driving around the world is not a short expedition and for those that think they can do it quickly then think about the amount of world one is going to miss by rushing things. There will always be compromises with the amount of things to do and see and the time spent in a particular country but the faster one travels through a region the less one sees, experiences and learns.
The trip is all about experience. Culture, language, food and of course drink. There is so much out there that one can never experience everything, but the only way to try is to get out there and give it a go.
The world is actually a small place and one can accomplish so much with the right mindset. Obstacles will always exist but to every problem there is a solution and many can be overcome with a Land Rover. This one!
